Honestly i run multiple sites on my server as i'm running my company online, decided to try 3ix but it was horrendously bad. It goes down almost all the time.

Seriously do not go for it its not worth it at all. CUstomer service knows nuts.

I've just had an awful customer service experience with 3ix. They claimed to have registered a domain I ordered but hadn't even though I'd paid for it, then there response to my complaint was entirely hopeless.

I've cancelled my service with them but doubt that I'll see any money back despite their 30 day money back guarantee.

Just has the terrible experience with 3iX. I bought cs-cart and was not able to run all the functions. Already informed 3iX team about the issue. They keep on saying that the problem is with cs-cart. They wanted to fix it dragged the issue for 3 weeks and when 30 days money back guarantee expired then they still says problem is with cs-cart and no money back. I moved to another host and in less then 15 min. I was ready and all the functions work perfectly. Email 3iX team so many times, no reply. Overall service is terrible.

I have been using 3ix for a year now.
One time my website was hacked and all index.htm files replaced by a script kid.
Else the website has worked well, just a few times I have noticed downtime but hard to know just how frequent since I do not monitor 24/7.

For a hobbysite I would recommend 3ix, but look elsewhere if the website is important for you.

I've been struggling with 3ix for about 6 months. I have 6 sites hosted with them. All pretty standard info type sites. I haven't had too many problems with down time and their service guys are ok. However, I have a number of web forms on the site which provides my only communication with users of the sites. The web forms are continuously breaking down. I have contacted their support on numerous occassions trying to get this issue resolved. Each time I am told the problem is fixed and it won't occur again. Within a few days it is broken again. I m never told why it keeps breaking or what they are actually fixing. It is immensely annoying as I now have no way to know if my forms are working or not, other than testing them myself, contacting support and telling them they are broken. They tell me it's fixed and "it will never happen again". Within 24 hours it's broken again. I'm currently looking for another company to host my sites who are more reliable.

I have had no access to webmail for 6 hours today and there was a day last week where I had the same problem. I need the email access. 6 hours is an insane amount of time to be down.

the problem is not 3ix. the problem is you guy who expect 99.99% up time from $1 a month website hosting company. I have account with 3ix, webhosting world, hostmonster and godaddy. My low level/ info only websites which I don't care much about are on 3ix and WHW and my content/ forum websites on godaddy and my business websites on host monster. You have prioritize. If you are running business or board you need 100% up time. If you are running a info/ back up site which you would only use it just in case, use 3ix or similar website hosting. it is very easy to blame a hosting company than blame your self because your CHEAP.

If you are looking for a hosting service dont and I mean DONT use 3ix, unless you want yoursite deleated by there so called experts want more down time than up and want to end up with a bald head because you have pulled out all your hair in frustration with them it maybe cheap but as they say you only get what you pay for, they had there site down yesterday tuesday 27th all day then when up today after getting in contact they put service back on and had reinstalled wrong bata bases, removed my site and put up ones that I had deleated 3 weeks prior no scripts enabled to be honest I'm sure a bunch of kindergarten children would have done better. they 3ix are a waste of time monie evan if it is cheap.

Initially i started with 3ix with their basic account and i had no problems then for few months. When i decided to get 3 additional hosting account that's where my nightmare started. I worked for the site for about a week where i had everything setup, i worked so hard that i told my wife to just give the time and on the 8th day, i couldn't access my site.

For some reason my index pages has been changed with some porn meta tags and other contents. All 3 hosting account has been HACKED. And worst is, my other hosting account which is a separate account has also been messed up. All of my contents got removed. Unbelievable. I can't even go in to my control panel anymore.

I emailed for help from 3ix support and i got none after 8 emails. Before i get a reply in a matter of an hour or so.

Now want to go with the legal stuff they tried to pull..

i paid 1 yr in advance they tried to tell me that because i missed the 30 days money back that all my money in advance i couldn't refund .. Now that sounds right?!! wrong.. You cannot hold someones money if paid in advance you can take the month in question but thats it.

I am one of many customers who did not obtain the stability of the service, a minimum two or three times a week is hosting the fall, is a fraud and do not meet the 99.999% of stability, lies, not buy them ... I'm hosting a number of migrating to other providers more stable.

I have been with 3ix for almost a year and at least 2x a week the server goes down or I can not log into ftp or my email is down. Not good as I have lost contracts for it. If you want host several site then this is not the company for you. the cost is wonderful but I need more uptime.

3ix have hundreds of different servers, I host 5 websites with them, occassionally there can be some downtime, but will never find all sites down, so it depends on which server you are on I think. Downtime is not much more than any other host I tried, overall I think 3ix is worth it, when you think about their low price and good features, also they are there live to chat with me 24 hours a day everyday, that's important, I like them.

I've signed up with 3ix and its constantly having my site down or timeouts more than 50% of the time.
Positive:
Good Value
Good Customer Support
Fast and Efficient in handling issues related problems
Negative:
Webpage Loads damn slow (Timeouts)
No Offers (Unlike other companies, they offers good and reasonable package, giving free advertising credits mostly more than $100 value of all time)

Comments i give: If you wana spend on unlimited plans, i suggest not going for 3IX coz the promising server uptime cannot met the user's requirements. Frustration from over a year since i signed up with 3IX and waiting for the contract to up. Transfered my other domains to other hoster with better reviews...
Choose 3IX for its good value and cost if you are on a budget. I don really say its that bad as it cost only as low as $1 a month to host with such a good package. I think this hosting company has the most cheap and highest spec of all others. But bear in mind you might face some issues in the near future.

Hmm thats weird, my site has been up for how many months and yet i didnt experience any downtimes. Maybe you guys have been caught while 3ix.org is still upgrading their system. Now 3ix.org is the best webhosting site i found in the net.

I've been with 3ix, and have no problems at all, I really wonder if these comments posted on this site are all true coz i found their hosting services reliable, I've also known that sometimes other webhosting companies just post negative comments just to put down 3ix .... and that is very unethical.

Formally with a well know Australian company my move to 3IX for the last 18 months has been fantastic. minimal downtime.Have had some minor uploading issues on some of my many webs hosted with them. These issues have been sorted promptly.I can recommend this company. I have not yet experienced downtime longer than 3 hours. My australian web hosting went down for two weeks and they became uncontactable. So thumbs up for 3IX

My experience with 3ix has been awful. Randomly taking servers off-line for hours for maintenance that could be done with systems up. regular technical stuffups that a competent company could easily avoid.

WILL NOT BUY AGAIN.

As I type this my 3ix hosted sites are once again non-functional.

**Beware** of this rubbish web host!

Up-time has been faked!!

Find a web host that has a bandwidth and disk space limit to control over selling and over loading the server. I am even going to look for a new web host that can guarantee a certain amount of server memory too.

This web host is Sh*t.

How do I know? Because I still have an account with 3ix and my site is many times a day offline and intermittent. If you complain about the service they ignore you. Now is that how you would run your business?

3ix must be the worst hosting company in the world I went with them 6 months ago and straight away had major connection problems, tried to ring them, answer machine “leave your telephone number and name and well get back to you. Never ever did. Tried live chat most of the operators do not know what they are doing (told me they could see my site at their end) took me 2 days to get hold of someone that did and was told they had to reset the something or other. This happened quite a number of times with loss of service for hours. Monday I lost both my site and email contacted 3ix by live chat told it would be up and running within 2/3 hrs. Since then its not been working, that’s 3days now with without service and being fed excuses from it’s a virus, changing the server, it running but its got to perpetrates the internet, again 3 hrs and still not working here is the chat from 3ix when I tried to get them to change server tonight

My web sites http server and mail servers are often off line. When the servers are running I have problems with 3ix staff having to repair my SSL Certificate installation so I can use https. I have done this more than 10 times and nothing changes. I am trying to run a business here, and I'm lossing traffic. I am feed up with 3ix's slack performance and are now looking for new hosting.

My advice...Don't be sucked in by 3ix's promotional glitz and gloss...try another web host!

Signed up for the Excel plan ($44/year, 5 GB storage, cPanel, ClickBe, Fantastico, etc.) They were nice and responsive prior to my purchase.
Trouble started right after signing up: ClickBe didn't work. Asked them to fix it. They made a number of attempts, and did not get it to work most of the time. They downgraded my subscription to Excite level in the process and lost my two mailing lists. I then told them I wanted a refund (they offer a 30-day refund) and stated my reasons. According to support, I have an open ticket with admins regarding the refund, but they did not get back to me in this matter in the past 5 days. The story is documented here (still hosted by them :-)

These are criminals to be avoided, before you know it, you have lost your domain name and money. This has happened o me , so be warned. Invlid whois data etc, impossible to contact them via e-mail or via the toll free number which is sometimes diverted to some asian speaking idiot.

3ix must be the worst hosting company in the world I went with them 6 months ago and straight away had major connection problems, tried to ring them, answer machine “leave your telephone number and name and well get back to you. Never ever did. Tried live chat most of the operators do not know what they are doing (told me they could see my site at their end) took me 2 days to get hold of someone that did and was told they had to reset the something or other. This happened quite a number of times with loss of service for hours. Monday I lost both my site and email contacted 3ix by live chat told it would be up and running within 2/3 hrs. Since then its not been working, that’s 3days now with without service and being fed excuses from it’s a virus, changing the server, it running but its got to perpetrates the internet, again 3 hrs and still not working here is the chat from 3ix when I tried to get them to change server tonight

You say in your review of 3ix that you are with 3ix and you are very happy with them.
Tell me, was your website never put offline because of their SERVER LOAD issue? Did you never see a notice on your website saying account suspended because of server load? I get it REGULARLY, every 15 days or so my friend! and no matter how many emails or chat sessions you do they dont get it unsuspended in less than 4 days!! Mine are non-commercial non profit websites which have no traffic at all and still they claim LOAD on their server. I am switching as soon as my term with them gets over, I know its just 36 bucks for my 3 websites with them, they'll never give it back, its not a lot but yes it means a lot to me since its hard earned money.
Seriously guys, whoever wants to cry on web chats with technical support every other day begging them to have your site restored...come to 3iX!

I have been with 3ix now for over one year, and I have had numerous problems with the service reliability, requiring many calls to the poor support service. My web sites http server and mail servers are often off line. When the servers are running I have problems with 3ix staff having to repair my SSL Certificate installation so I can use https. I have done this more than 10 times and nothing changes. I am trying to run a business here, and I'm lossing traffic. I am feed up with 3ix's slack performance and are now looking for new hosting.

My advice...Don't be sucked in by 3ix's promotional glitz and gloss...try another web host!

Signed up for the Excel plan ($44/year, 5 GB storage, cPanel, ClickBe, Fantastico, etc.) They were nice and responsive prior to my purchase.
Trouble started right after signing up: ClickBe didn't work. Asked them to fix it. They made a number of attempts, and did not get it to work most of the time. They downgraded my subscription to Excite level in the process and lost my two mailing lists. I then told them I wanted a refund (they offer a 30-day refund) and stated my reasons. According to support, I have an open ticket with admins regarding the refund, but they did not get back to me in this matter in the past 5 days. The story is documented here (still hosted by them :-)

3ix must be the worst hosting company in the world I went with them 6 months ago and straight away had major connection problems, tried to ring them, answer machine “leave your telephone number and name and well get back to you. Never ever did. Tried live chat most of the operators do not know what they are doing (told me they could see my site at their end) took me 2 days to get hold of someone that did and was told they had to reset the something or other. This happened quite a number of times with loss of service for hours. Monday I lost both my site and email contacted 3ix by live chat told it would be up and running within 2/3 hrs. Since then its not been working, that’s 3days now with without service and being fed excuses from it’s a virus, changing the server, it running but its got to perpetrates the internet, again 3 hrs and still not working here is the chat from 3ix when I tried to get them to change server tonight

You say in your review of 3ix that you are with 3ix and you are very happy with them.
Tell me, was your website never put offline because of their SERVER LOAD issue? Did you never see a notice on your website saying account suspended because of server load? I get it REGULARLY, every 15 days or so my friend! and no matter how many emails or chat sessions you do they dont get it unsuspended in less than 4 days!! Mine are non-commercial non profit websites which have no traffic at all and still they claim LOAD on their server. I am switching as soon as my term with them gets over, I know its just 36 bucks for my 3 websites with them, they'll never give it back, its not a lot but yes it means a lot to me since its hard earned money.
Seriously guys, whoever wants to cry on web chats with technical support every other day begging them to have your site restored...come to 3iX!

I am hosted in 3ix.org about two years. And today all my data from one site is deleted (The server on which your account is hosted had issue with hard drive failure). They didn't make backup my data and I lost my data during 3 month.

I don't know what everyone else experienced, but I know that my site was down all the time. I would try to access it and it would be down. Then after about 5-10 minutes it would come online. It's almost as if the server went to sleep and I had to wake it back up.

I have since moved my site somewhere else (i don't say where because I don't want to be accused of being a competitor) and have had no problems since.

I do like the CPanel interface they offer, but, like the website, it too was down all the time. I now use the site to store files and stuff, but nothing that's mission critical.

They claim to be in Humble, Texas, but I have never been able to find a phone number on their site for them and it takes up to several hours to get technical support for them.

It's unfortunate that they don't offer hosting for mission critical sites and files.

Host-care.com IP address comes back as 74.52.91.238. Reverse DNS on that IP comes back as a Planet server in Dallas, Texas.

We once used and then quit using The Planet servers because their network had issues as well (which would stand to reason that 3ix has problems as well).

Tell me, was your website never put offline because of their SERVER LOAD issue? Did you never see a notice on your website saying account suspended because of server load? I get it REGULARLY, every 15 days or so my friend! and no matter how many emails or chat sessions you do they dont get it unsuspended in less than 4 days!! Mine are non-commercial non profit websites which have no traffic at all and still they claim LOAD on their server. I am switching as soon as my term with them gets over, I know its just 36 bucks for my 3 websites with them, they'll never give it back, its not a lot but yes it means a lot to me since its hard earned money.
Seriously guys, whoever wants to cry on web chats with technical support every other day begging them to have your site restored...come to 3iX!

All in all, was well worth the money to have 3ix as a host.

My side got whacked lately for some reasons. I contacted their staffs are rude and unpolite when dealing with customers. They tend to advertise more than doing the work. It takes them forever to response to my request, although we try to be nice with them, but they act like they are parents to their customers. That's the way they serve because their philosophy is that what you paid is what you get.

I host 10 sites with 3ix, all are responsive, work well and support always gets back to me within a day. Live support is also very good. No complaints from me.

I am hosting two websites with hosting comapny - http://www.3ix.org

They provide hosting for as low as $1 per month and this was the reason I thought to host with them just like thousands of other users who have hosted with

them.

I was stunned to see that my domains hosted with them has doorway subdomains with adverisements and malware.

I checked my cpanel and amazingly there were actually no sub domains in cpanel.

Those subdomains were actually created secretly through DNS entries by 3ix.org so that they can serve advertisements and malwares without being caught by

HOSTING USERS.

So I did a Reverse DNS lookup and found that all domains hosted by them are suffering from the same issue.

They are cheating their users and now all the sites hosted with them are in danger as this will be considered as spam by Search engines and all sites can be

banned anytime.

I would strictly advice to stay away from this web hosting company.

I made a hosting purchase and was disappointed with the sub-par level of service. Starting pre-sales was all rosy but all hell starts right after the transition. Had problem from email to restoring of data. Absolutely ridiculous service. One of their technical chat sessions "You should try googleout"!!

Like most ex-users, Im staying away. Its not even a week and already so much problem!!! I'm not taking any chances, I'm asking for a refund!

I'm switching back to my former service provider Siteground! At least I have a peace of mind and lesser heartaches to say the least!

I believe 3ix is very reliable if you abide by their terms and conditions. They should keep up with communicating with their customers directly and taking them personally not shutting them down like nobodies at their own disgression. Its very frustrating getting the right hosting company this days but 3ix.org is reliable.

The worst company is the world. Only with them for two weeks and my sites worked every other day to none at all. Email issues an hour after signing up. Support always said my site worked fine on their end...my site is for the public, not them. Argued for 3 days with "live chat" for refund...and then they begged me to stay and tried to offer me free month. Moved to HostGator and no problems since.

I host about 20+ domains on that hosting package the extreme one...until tonight that is whereby i tried to login and noticed my cpanel pw wouldnt work. so i contact support and they tell me my plan has been terminated as i was hosting a rapidshare script on it! I had never done such thing and had obviously been hacked..they support wouldnt even give me straight answers. i am so dispondant..5 months of no hassles and then something like this happens....wish i knew of a place to find hosting the same price but with better service. maybe i will try hostgator. 3ix. thanks for making my life a living hell. if i knew who and where u where id put a bullet through ur dumbass.

I found this initially perfect for my needs. Just a bare-bones host for peanuts. Surpisingly good CP with lots of goodies too.

Never had downtime problems...

But I have recently had spam issues, plus this f#$king hacking is giving me the s$#ts.

They'd better clean up there act ASAP or I'll take my peanuts elsewhere.

I recently had to transfer my hosting and domain off of 3IX. (At one point I had 5 websites operating with 3ix). They have internal security issues.

Their hosting service has been completely comprimised by some hacker do not keep any private information online. I was regularly having to clean out my index pages from some hacker's code that was inserting hidding iframes to push malware. 3IX unresponsive to this issue. AVOID. Also watch out for these fake positive comments.

I purchased Excite (1$ hosting plan), installed wordpress and form software. After 2 weeks the server, where my web site was hosted failed. They could not recover my web site and offered me as a compensation 15 days free hosting, meaning 0.5 $. Afterwards they changed this to 30 days. They refuse to give me any other compensation.

What do you think I should do? Should I accept this or is there a way to get smth more from these people?

Their servers suck. Until server totally failed there were frequent shut downs and web site did not function properly. I would recommend to everyone: DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE CHEAP HOSTING (1$) NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE, IF YOU WANT TO MAKE ANYTHING SERIOUS. THIS IS THE WORST CHOICE EVER...

p.s. forgot to mention that their control panel also sucks. You can not even change CNAMES for your domain. You have to contact them through live chat and ask them to do that for you...

Started off ok and then i had one site banned because i'd apparently sent spam - which i'd never ever done.

Past few days has been a nightmare though - one site disappeared for 4 days and i got no reply from any tickets raised.
Main issue just now is hackers who seem to get access with ease and paste java code onto homepage - I changed passwords to ones with tons of symbols and still they were back in within minutes....
Of course you do get what you pay for in life and they are INCREDIBLY cheap, but you still want to have some sort of reliability otherwise the cheap price backfires because of the time you have to waste sorting things!

Been with them 2 years, mostly they have been ok, uptime is more like 96%

Their staff are complete liars, disgusting, They pretend to be american, although I'm getting the feeling they are sitting in some crap hole in India.

They cannot answer simple questions.
They keep pasting bullcrap, it's like talking to a monkey.

Don't even try to ask them multiple questions or a sentence that is more that 10 words, they will just ignore you for an hour or so, and say is there anything else we can help you with.

Recently I wanted them to update me to PHP5, they told me it would take 30-60 mins, 5-7 mins, 1-2 hours, 3-4 hours, 6-8 hours. Everytime you open a chat even if it is with the same person, they have a new time, it actually took almost 40 hours, that wouldn't of been a problem if they told me that in the first place, rather than me sitting at my computer all day refreshing the pages.

If I wasn't persistant, they wouldn't of done it.

They also keep refering to the Ticket ID, when you contact the support.

When you give them the ticket ID, they say they cannot find it.

And their support doesn't even answer anyway.

Anything I finally got that sorted...
Then I had a new issue, I wanted to install a SSL I purchased.

Now when I asked to use their shared SSL it took just a few mins.

Anyway back to the purchased one from another company, they promised me it would take also just a few mins, i've had around 14 chats with them over the last 30 hours, each time they give me a time.

Your SSL will be installed within 60 minutes, etc etc. Thats been going on for 30 hours now.

They lie after lie, and then when your ask why they lie, they just ignore.

You know what, I'm fed up, I could complain about them all night.

Although their actual website hosting is good value for money, i.e. hosting 10 sites for £50 a year with plenty of bandwidth and online space.

Other than that, it's total shite, if you want upgrades or install SSL's or anything that requires 2 mins of work.

Also what is with the pricks from 3ix pretending to be happy buyers. They make too many errors and repeats in what they say and the names they use...

Went with them, great price. Except they got hacked which has brought my site down and almost everyother hosted on their 'reliable' servers. I am going to pay extra but that extra will give me peace of mind.

I've been hosted with them for about a year now, I'm 50/50 with them. They suspended my account because of resource usage and I'm paying for unlimited bandwidth. When I contacted them they gave me false logs and said my site would be up in 24 hours.

The came 24 hours, I had to contact them AGAIN. After I contacted them again I told them I want my site back online now. And then they turned it back on.

The host is good for a starter, but if your site is big then this host is not for you. Also, it seems they fixed their downtime.

3ix - has got to be the very worst hosting company I’ve come across in using many different hosts (for different projects) over the last 11 years!

They (and host-care.com) are completely useless.

1. Their service is unreliable

2. They have a lot of security holes

3. They will only communicate with you if and when it suits them

The final straw came, when after breakfast I went online to find an email from them saying - ‘Account terminated due to a report from spamcop’!

They hadn’t emailed me to ask or debate - just chopped me and all of the sites (+ valuable data) off!

And could I contact them - by any means? - Not a chance!

They had sent me the email header - I processed it through spamcop - and it actually showed that the offending source was from elsewhere!

I am currently trying to relocate around 8 websites and domains - but as yet, have not heard from them - and have lost all of my clients data.

I have no problem with the 3ix hosting but their customer service team need a kick up the ass.

They registered my domain name when the hosting package was opened. We gave them our details for the Domain name ownership and they ignored this and registered OUR domain name in their compnay name.

Now they tell me it is impossible to change the details - which I know is an absolute lie.

I get the same response from the and no HELP at all just 'Thankyou for hosting with 3iX - and We are your friend in the business' what a load of CRAP. If you are looking for customer service I would say be vary wary as customer service is very important in web hosting.

To date I still haven't had an apology nor have they attempted to change the ownership of my domain name to my own details.

I now have a website that is not mine but I have access to it. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR DOMAIN NAME FROM THESE GUYS - INSTEAD REGISTER YOUR OWN OR GO TO SOMEONE ELSE !!!! 5/5 FOR HOSTING 0/10 FOR INTEGRITY AND 0/10 FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND DEFINATELY NO FRIENDS OF MINE !!!

The Good: Cheap cheap cheap, nice Cpanel. The online support is quick as long as they actually can fix your prob. However I highly recommend changing your password afterwards.

The Bad: Search "3ix script hack" on Google. Read the complaints about a turkish hacker that has completely compromised their network.

I've got 4 sites hosted by 3IX and each week I have to remove some hacker's script from all my index files. (Its a script that opens an invisible IFRAME for some reason).


Be aware the default password they assign is just a string of numbers with no letters, which I believe is easily hackable.

My site times out 50% of the time, i've checked through multiple speed/website check and almost half time out they first said it was a backup script running causing high CPU usage that was when I first opened my account and now they say its an upstream problem. Im getting a refund now and moving my domain. Thank god I kept my files on another server and haven't changed my DNS hoping this problem would go away oh well they lost another cusomter

I've been using 3ix.org for 6 months now, & up until a few weeks ago, they were tolerable. The price is right, but you get what you pay for! The support team always assumes you're a moron & only answers one question at a time (so if you ask them to perform 3 tasks in 1 message, they'll do the first, claim they're done, then you have to keep writing back & pestering to get the other 2 tasks done.

So that's how it's been for me the whole time. Those were the good old days compared to the past 3 weeks. They've added too many sites to the shared server I'm on (I'm using the $88/year xtreme plan) & now my sites go offline multiple times a day. I've been using 3ix.org for 6 months now, & up until a few weeks ago, they were tolerable. The price is right, but you get what you pay for! The support team always assumes you're a moron & only answers one question at a time (so if you ask them to perform 3 tasks in 1 message, they'll do the first, claim they're done, then you have to keep writing back & pestering to get the other 2 tasks done.

So that's how it's been for me the whole time. Those were the good old days compared to the past 3 weeks. They've added too many sites to the shared server I'm on (I'm using the $88/year xtreme plan) & now my sites go offline multiple times a day. I signed up with an uptime monitoring company, & I'm seeing times as low as 84% for a day. Here's the full report so far:

I'V just moved to them from a host that was slow, guess what?.... now i'm slower.
Sometimes my site goes offline, i call the chat and it come s back again....that sucks!!.

I also had a stupid problem, i was unable to upload/restore my database/table FROM MY OLD HOST coz of a problem from their site, i asked them to upload it for me,i waited more than 3 days for a thing that WOULD ONLY haveTAKEEN 5 minutes.

If i had known i wouldn't have chosen them!

It's a shame coz the offer is good and the cpanel is easy to use.If they continue like this many will leave them.

They appear to have stolen my domain name, because I cannot use it and they do not fix it (I am in the middle of it). The telephone number in Australia does not work. The positive reviews appear to be writen by 3ix 'plants' - you can tell from the language.

3ix host more than 30,000 sites, I know many people who host with them, never heard of any such problems or scams. the 3ix deals are very competitve, certainly the best in the world if you search on Google. I think this might be the only way competitors can compete with them, It's easy to write lies about 3ix like this without even posting your real name or any real details of proof of a problem. I'm not pleased with 3ix.org. Right from the start things went wrong. My website is slow or times out, password protected directories are suddely wide open without me changing anything, security issues (exploits changing my index.php), stats disappearing, etc. And they make it seem like I am the one who's doing things wrong.

I'm really very frustrated with 3ix.org. I'm moving out to namecheap for my domain and hostgator for my hosting. I can't believe i'm going to pay again just to transfer my domain.

I have tried more than 10 hosting companies over the years, all have a problem at some time, I have 4 sites at 3ix, the 3ix uptime and support is good and comparable to hosts 3 or 4 times the price, I was with Godaddy and had so many problems, then moved to 3ix and have been happier and saved $, the personal service of 3ix is far better than Godaddy, and the control panel of 3ix is must more friendly and with more features, I have no hesitation recommending 3ix, there will be problems with any hosting company, you need to understand that, try to be understanding and helpful with your hosting company, In my experience 3ix work as fast and hard as any to deal with problems, try them.

I started using 3ix hosting. The first time I tried to connect, the server was down. Finally it came back up, I started uploading my files. It went down again before they finished.

For 3 days I checked the site about once an hour. It was down about 25% of the time.

The live support person denied any problems.

$1 a month may be cheap, but it's not worth it.

Been with them a couple of weeks and nothing but trouble with mySQL database. Contact them over 10 hours and they say it will be resolved in 30 mins. CRAP!!!!! Second day in a row that my site is down and can't work on it. At this rate I wont have my site ready by next Xmas never mind this one! STAY CLEAR AND PAY THAT LITTLE BIT EXTRA FOR RELIABLE HOSTING!!!!

I started using 3ix a few years ago and found their customer support very good. I recommended them to friends whom also use them. The last few months have been disgusting! I have 4 sites which always seem down on a weekly basis and as above they tried to blame my pc. Their 24 hour customer support is also useless. All you get are automated replies!

Time to dig into my wallet and pay a little more for better hosting. You do get what you payed for $1 !!!!

May I point out that I am on their cheapest package ($1/month) and it is 1000mb space, not 100mb as stated here. Also, I have been with them for about a month and had no problems at all, even though they are based in the US and I am in the UK.

I have been with 3ix from last 3 years and I never had any problem with them.There Live chat support is really the best.The good techs like Peter, Nicola and Sandra are really help full.They dont just make you go to place a support ticket but try to solve it on the chat.Also the e-mail support team is too good.I had many critical issues solved in no time by them.I was helped out by the support team in very good way all the time. For some time they were ok, but now it is very bad.
They suspend my account without letting me know.
Excuse was that it takes too much of resources.
Blaming my site for that, I made new site and one month later same happens.
In between it was so slow it takes 2 min to reload page.
It is truth that they have live chat but all they do is restart server and tell me to try again trying to convince me that problem is with my PC.
I lost so much time, I am looking for better provider any recommendation?

I've also been with 3ix for a couple of years, I have 4 sites on the excite plan, 1 of them had a problem, I contacted live chat, they fixed it within a few minutes, I have not noticed any downtime for the other 3 sites over the last 18+ months, in my opinion 3ix is relaible and good value for money.

stay clear. they hold on to your domain when you want to transfer your domain.they are un-operative, and don't reply your emails when it's a real emergency.

they are the admin contact for your whois data for the domain YOU own, so they "deny" transfer requests for no reason (coz they want you to perpetually renew your domain and hosting plan with them, that's what!).

unscrupulous and unethical. save yourself time and unnecessary stress by paying a little more for a more reliable host.

I've been hosting my website with 3ix for a couple of years and been very pleased, no downtime whatsoever, I suppose the performance of each server can vary, they have 24x7 live chat that I have used a couple of times for instant response.

8 out of 10 is my vote, fantastic value at $12 a year.

my suggestion is you stay well clear of this company, they have a lot to learn, I found them unreliable and they still owe me money for referrals as a partner.

Fat chance of getting that try emailing them you get no response.

in my opinion you should steer of this company, i believe that there not your friend in the business .

WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO USE THEM our website was down for ever not reply to CS and also there Call Centre is a load of rubbish. They want use to put their 3ix logo on our website.... Everything was set up smoothly enough but since I put my site up it keeps on being overwritten with old versions. The first couple of time I was told that this couldn't happen. They finally acknowledged that there was a problem but it keeps on happening. Over the last few days I have written to Sales about 6 times and have phoned twice but no-one will reply. I am sick and tired of it.

I asked for cancellation and refund but they never reply to my numerous requests. I will have to escalate this issue to 2checkout.com or request chargeback from bank. Stay away from 3ix.org

Signed up for the Excel plan ($44/year, 5 GB storage, cPanel, ClickBe, Fantastico, etc.) They were nice and responsive prior to my purchase.
Trouble started right after signing up: ClickBe didn't work. Asked them to fix it. They made a number of attempts, and did not get it to work most of the time. They downgraded my subscription to Excite level in the process and lost my two mailing lists. I then told them I wanted a refund (they offer a 30-day refund) and stated my reasons. According to support, I have an open ticket with admins regarding the refund, but they did not get back to me in this matter in the past 5 days. The story is documented here (still hosted by them :-)

For your own sake, never ever go near these people. You get what you pay for: nothing. Uptime 99.969 is a massive lie, it fails every 5th time I try to access my site. Even their own site goes down.
