| After doing business with this company for three years, my site went down. Nervous, I tried contacting globalcon and nothing. They didn't answer my emails and wouldn't answer my calls. When the site came back up after a week, I gave them an oppourtunity to explain and they returned with "nothing was reportedely wrong" with my website. Not having email or my site for a week I was shocked to hear them say this. I tried switching to another company and Globalcon would not cooperate change my DNS and refused to even acknowledge my request. After a month and another billing cycle, I got tired of playing nice. It wasn't until I showed them my connections to newspapers and TV news team that they finally responded. I am now trying to finally move my last site to another company and they are STILL ignoring my emails. As a computer engineer from the University of Florida and computer consulting business owner, I encourage my customers to stay far away from companies with bad technical support departments. So it is my professional opinion to consider other options before using Globalcon. |

| Once of the best priced packages I could find. Unmanaged, but tech support has usua lly been willing to go the extra mile and help out with a configuration issue even if it is not their obligation. Even most "cheap server" companies price accounts similar to this one at $79-99, for $59 I often find only 1/2 the RAM or 1/2 the hard drive space elsewhere. A "Christian web hosting company", you don't have to be a church or even a Christian to subscribe to their services; but of course don't plan on hosting adult content and don't worry about your server being associated with adult sites as cyber-neighbors. |

Globalcon is a good provider, but the negative is I was capped at 22mbps..
Everything else is good, support, everything is great! |
